Methods 120 SD rats were divided randomly into blank group, model group, Baoliezhi control group and Qianliening granule groups with different doses. The models were established with hypodermic injection of testosterone propionate at 4 mg/kg after orchiectomy, at the same time, these rats were gastric perfused with different drugs respectively for 30 days. The body weight, prostate weight, prostate index, morphological changes, the level of T and E2 were measured. Results The body weight in model group was significantly lower than that in control group (P.05), the prostate weight and index were obviously higher than that in control group (P.01).
