Students who have completed the required courses can have access to the choice of over thirty optional courses ranging from tool-using training, to interest extending studies and comprehensive researches. We run a Nankai Forum joined by specialists of science and humanities on a regular basis to refresh the academic air and stimulate the students to learn further and wider. We publish the school journal Nankai Teaching Research to help teaching and research. We hold lecture contests among teachers for academic exchange and improvement. We also arrange for students to edit publications, make investigations, and practise socially to create a special atmosphere of learning.

The academic aim of this thesis are ,first, to enhance the scientific level of 100-metre-running through experimental research and appliance ,second, to develop the 100-metre-running special quality and enforce special techniques so as to increase the grade ,third, to make the specialized training more obvious and save time and energy to raise efficiency ,forth, to further enlarge strength training theory of short-running race so that we can provide some guides in theory and practice for overwhelming coaches and teachers in the process of controlled training.

本文的研究目的是：(1)通过实验性研究与应用，提高100m跑训练科学化水平：(2)促进100m跑专项素质发展，加强巩固专项技术，提高专项成绩；(3)突出训练专项化，节省训练时间与精力，提高训练效率；(4)进一步充实短跑专项力量训练理论，为广大教练员和教师在控制训练过程中提供理论依据与实践指导。

In the classroom that is beneficial to SRL, students should act as self-instructor other than receiver, and teachers should act as guide, supporter rather than lectures. Teachers'exposition that follows children's questions can bring about better effects on SRL than that is before children's learning attempt.
