OBJECTIVE: To evaluate the efficacy of treatment of symptomatic large simple cysts of the kidney, we retrospectively analyzed the results of laparoscopic unroofing and compared them with the results of echo-guided percutaneous aspiration with povidone-iodine sclerotherapy.
