The paper presented the author′s interpretation and comments on this clause and put forth suggestions on how to enhance applicability and effectiveness of this clause to further improve on the reinstatement clause of life insurance contract in China′s Insurance Law. Such undertaking is expected to better balance relationship among the insurer, the applicant, the insured and the beneficiary.

摘要］复效是人寿保险合同的一项特有规定，本文通过阐述对复效条款的理解和见解，提出增强复效条款的适用性和实效性，进一步完善我国《保险法》人寿保险合同中复效制度的建议，以期能有助于更好地平衡保险人、投保人、被保险人和受益人的利益关系。
