Precision coating is a very important process in manufacturing of thin films. Among many coating techniques, slot coating may be the most promising in developing high precision coating process due to its versatility and controllability. Fundamentals of slot coating have been studied by many pioneer researchers. However, two topics: use of polymer additives and discrete operation remained relatively largely uninvestigated, especially in terms of their basic mechanisms. These two topics are studied in this thesis using theoretical analysis and experimental methods.

精密涂布技术是未来薄膜技术的重要发展方向，在诸多的涂布技术中，狭缝式涂布是用途广泛且有深厚发展潜力的一项，前人的研究阐明了许多狭缝式涂布的疑难问题，然而，随著精密涂布技术的发展，高分子添加剂与非连续操作逐渐地应用於狭缝式涂布之中，这两个研究课题目前并未发展出适当的理论来说明其机制，本研究以理论与实验的方法对这两个课题进行研究。

2为解决目前铝电解过程控制系统中普遍存在的、能用于槽况综合解析的信息不足这一问题，研究了综合运用直接检测技术、在线仿真技术和模糊信息处理技术等技术获取和处理电解槽的各种状态参数和信息的方法；并提出了一种新型的动态测温方法，推导了该方法的数学模型和计算公式，给出了公式的误差分析并设计了一个实验用动态测温装置，向实现对电解质温度的直接检测和控制迈出了探索性的一步。

Though there is no unrealizable technical difficulty for FTTH, its success shall highlight the following aspects and integrate efforts to solve the key points: develop new device and kernel control chip adapting to features of FTTH, reduce the cost of optoelectronic devices and passive devices; develop low cost, easy installation indoor optical fiber, cable and linker as well as matching construction equipments and tools; develop high density, easy operation optical fiber distribution frame; and develop concentrated remote monitor, management techniques and systems.
