承兑信用证

The documentary credit or letter of credit is an undertaking issued by a bank to the seller at the request and in accordance with the instructions of the buyer to effect payment (that is, by making a payment, or by accepting or negotiating bills of exchange) up to a stated sum of money, within a prescribed time limit against stipulated documents.

跟单信用证是银行应买方的要求并按照买方的指示开给卖方的付款（即支付、承兑或议付汇票）的承诺，保证在规定的期限内凭规定的单据支付一定金额。
