Article 44 When the payer has accepted the bill, he shall bear the liability of paying it at maturity.

第四十四条付款人承兑汇票后，应当承担到期付款的责任。

"Where an inland bill has been dishonoured, it may, if the holder thinks fit , be noted for non-acceptance or non-payment, as the case may be;"

如本地汇票不能兑现而执票人认为适当，可经公证注明不获承兑或被拒付款

"The duties of the holder with respect to presentment for acceptance or payment and the necessity for or sufficiency of a protest or notice of dishonour, are determined by the law of the place where the act is done or the bill is dishonoured;"
