Because Yilan historic streets have inherited the past cultural system, and hence accumulated a kind of daily living habit particularly in such place; although various functions thereof, at present, are still operating contiguously, such as temples, markets, night markets, herbal medicine street, blacksmith street and wine factories etc., where all activity behaviors happened in the places not only have developed a kind of regularity, in addition to the fruitful meaning to local community, but also the diversified activities held in these places could probably attract the active participation of foreign communities.
