Using simulations, we found the best geometry of the collimator is the one with a rectangle aperture and all of them are placed in two groups with an orthogonal orientation, which will have good resolution and sensitivity, and also be easy to manufacture. The rectangle aperture gives good imaging accuracy along the short side, and wide viewing along the long side. The orthogonal orientation for collimators will allow us to observe the source and the background simultaneously.

In a hypoeutectoid steel, boron delayedthe starting time of pearlite formation at the maximum pearlite formation temp-erature. Boron did not effect the relation of nucleation rate with time butonly increased the incubation period for pearlite nucleation.

On the basis of the masteries for the aluminum oxide ore pulp drying and calcination, a mathematical model was developed for simulating the process of heat transfer and the calcination of two-phase flow in a new type furnace designed by Zhongzhou Branch Company, China Aluminium Corporation Limited. The fields of velocity, temperature and pressure of the two-phase flow and the reaction time were gained by optimizing calculation under the condition of different operational parameters and geometric parameters. The effect of vent position velocity and atomization particle diameter on the drying and calcination technology of aluminum oxide ore pulp was discussed.
