原位杂交结果显示，石蜡切片的鼻咽癌癌巢内，可见53BP2的强阳性表达信号，信号呈紫色颗粒状分布于胞核，核仁清晰可见；而在相同条件下，在慢性鼻咽炎组织和癌旁上皮的结缔组织，也可见弱表达信号，如淋巴细胞和平滑肌细胞；在增生的鳞状上皮细胞的核内，可找到强阳性信号。53BP1在鼻咽癌、慢性鼻咽炎组织和癌旁上皮的结缔组织切片上，均无表达信号。
