Remembering those days,when we haven t taken the entrance exam of the uni,we read the magazines reporting info of the unis all day long,as if those unis were all in our pockets n we can choose one from them if we like.i did so 2.now when i m looking back at those days, how pure n innocent we were,even a lil stupid...

想起从前的我们，还没有高考的时候，成天捧着介绍各个大学的杂志看个不停，仿佛这些大学已经尽收于我们的囊中，只要愿意就可以随意地挑选上哪个。我也是这样啊。现在想起来，真是觉得那是得我们是多么的单纯，甚至有点愚蠢。。。

But if students think critically, however, they will find out the simple fact that even if ETS had made an awkward decision, test preparers should concentrate on the right target --- prepaing test as prudently as possbile, and at the same time , trumbling never helps.

但是只要学生们批判性地思考，就会发现很简单的事实：即使ETS的决定是愚蠢的，准备考试的人也把精力集中在正确的目标上——尽可能把考前准备做细致。同时明白抱怨是不能解决任何问题的。

Why is it that a handful of thugs and plunderers can commit unthinkable atrocities (and in the case of the GM executives, for scores of years) and when it's time for their gravy train to crash under the weight of their gluttony and overwhelming stupidity, the force of the full federal government has no difficulty coming to their aid within days if not hours?

为什么那撮暴徒和强盗可以犯下无法想象的暴行（比如通用汽车的总裁们好多年以来的所作所为），并且当他们的贪婪和无比愚蠢的行为最终带来灾难的时候，联邦政府却可以毫无保留地在几天甚至几个小时内救助他们化解危机？
