NASA's publication of the first batch of pictures captured by Hubble Space Telescope equipped with high resolution camera earlier this year show us the collision between remote galaxies and the decadency process of stars, which outshined by dazzling gas clouds in the past were too dim for the orbiting telescope to observe.
