微观研究

Based on the analysis of the Jahn-Teller effect, vibronic interaction and the resolution of group representations, the possible geometrical configurations of 〓 have been derived for the first time. The Gaussian-98 program has been used to optimize the geometrical configurations of 〓 based on B3LYP/6-311G method. It is found that there are at least six different stable geometrical configurations for 〓 The results show that the multiplicity of 2S＋1=7 for cluster 〓 is the most stable state among the eight geometry configurations.

Both from practical and prospective viewpoints, this work outspreaded from two interpenetrating fields. On one hand, the pseudo-fluid approach closured by the KTGF was improved. On the other hand, a CFBB model with continuous parameter was established to simulate the flow, combustion as well as heat transfer behaviors. The design of a CFBB was also conducted.

Based on the above investigation of ideal layer-by-layer growth process, the surface roughening phenomena during the real epitaxial growth are discussed. Some important microscopic dynamic models for molecular-beam epitaxy , which have attracted much attention recently, are studied. Using the master-equation method, the corresponding growth equations are directly derived, and then the scaling behaviors, the universalities, as well as the crossover effects are determined.
