ABSTRACT In this dissertation a number of theoretical and technical problems to be faced in applying synthetic aperture techniques to remote sensing of the earth are resolved, researching on synthetic aperture microwave radiometric imaging technology against the background of developing satellite microwave radiometric imaging system.
