We are trained as senior engineering technicians with the knowledge in anti-pollution of water, gas, sound, solid waste, pollution control, water supply and drainage works, water pollution control and planning and protection of water resources for cities and towns, who are able to be engaged in the aspects of planning, design, management, education, and research and development for environmental engineering.

本专业通过学习物理化学、工程力学、工程制图、微生物学、水力学、环境监测、固体废弃物处理与处置、大气污染控制等环境工程学科的基本理论、基本知识，培养具备城市和城镇水、气、声、固体废物等污染防治和给排水工程、水污染控制规划和水资源保护等方面的知识，能从事规划、设计、管理、教育和研究开发方面工作的环境工程高级工程技术人才。
