微生物学

During about twenty years till now, the plentiful and substantial achievement of the research on polar microbiology was obtained by Chinese scientists. The areas surveyed included the locations of great wall station and Zhongshan station, and their surrounding country and air, water, the waters of the southern ocean, Antarctic region, Bering Sea and Chukchi Sea etc, the Arctic Ocean, the living and nonliving materials and Qinghai-Tibet plateau.

中国自行组建的极地微生物学调研起始于上世纪80年代初，迄今20余年来，中国极地微生物学研究取得了丰硕的成果，调查范围涉及南北极，包括南极长城站、中山站及其附近区域土壤、空气、水体和南大洋水域，及从中取得的生命和非生命材料、白令海和楚科奇海、波弗特海、加拿大海盆等北冰洋海区，及青藏高原等等。

Department of Microbiology and Immunology is primarily dedicated to teaching and research in protein secretion in Escherichia coli, cell wall synthesis and cell division in Escherichia coli, interactions and functions of proteins, mechanism of DNA replication arrest, microbial pathogenesis, microbial genetics, immunodeficiency, immunogenetics, infectious diseases, molecular biology, etc.

微生物学与免疫学系主要致力于微生物学与免疫学的教学与研究，其研究领域包括大肠杆菌的蛋白质分泌，大肠杆菌细胞壁合成和细胞分裂，蛋白质的相互作用和功能，DNA 复制抑制机理，微生物致病机理，微生物遗传学，免疫缺陷，遗传学，传染病，分子生物学等。

The Council supervises the work of subject matter standing committees including: bacteriology; biochemistry, physiology, and molecular biology; biological control; chemical control; diagnosticians; diseases of ornamental plants and turf grasses, environmental quality and plant health; epidemiology; exobiology and space phytopathology; forest pathology; genetics; integrated pest management; mycology; mycorrhizae; nematology; plant disease detection; plant disease losses; postharvest pathology and mycotoxicology; seed pathology; soil microbiology and root diseases; tropical plant pathology and virology.

该协会主要研究范围涉及细菌学、生物化学、生理学、分子生物学、生物控制学；化学控制学；诊断学；观赏植物和草皮病理、环境质量与植物健康；流行病学；外空生物学和空间植物病理学；森林病理学；遗传学；病虫害综合管理；真菌学；线虫学；植物疾病诊断；植物病害损失；收割期后的植物病理学和真菌毒理学；种子病理学；土壤微生物学和植物根病理；热带植物病理学与滤过性微生物学等。

It is published biannually and includes original research papers covering all aspects of medical microbiology – bacteriology, viriology, rickettsiology, mycology, mycobacteriology, and actinomyceles, arasitology, epidemiology of infectious diseases, immunology in clinical practice, general clinical microbiology, and clinical veterinary mcrobiology.

该杂志每年出版两次，其内容涵盖医学微生物学所有方面的原创性研究论文——在临床实践、普通临床微生物学和临床兽医微生物学领域的细菌学、病毒学、病原体学、真菌学、真菌细菌学、传染性疾病、临床实践免疫学、常规临床微生物学等。

Research topics in the Department are wide-ranging and include the cellular and molecular analysis of infection and immunity, the virulence of enteropathic bacteria, the microbial diversity of tissues, environmental microbiology, innate immunity, human respiratory virology, pulmonary immunology, the virulence of pneumococci, tumour immunology and immunodeficiency.

部门研究主题广泛包括；传染和免疫细胞和分子分析，肠病细菌的毒性，组织微生物的多样性，环境微生物学，先天免疫，人类呼吸器官的滤过性微生物学，肺部免疫学，肺炎双球菌的毒性，肿瘤免疫学和免疫缺陷。

Department of Ecology and Biodiversity is primarily dedicated to education and research in ecology and biodiversity including conservation biology, coral ecology, ecotoxicology, environmental microbiology, fungal biodiversity, mangrove ecology, microbiology, molecular ecology and evolution, molecular microbial ecology, molecular phylogenetics, plant pathology, plant systematics and evolution, plant-animal interactions, pollution biology, terrestrial ecology.
