The results showed that the D50 of Astragalus membranaceus and Epimedium brevicornum ultra-fine powder were 6.82μm and 8.40μm separately. The broken cellular walls of two ultra-fine herbal powder were bigger than those of the commonly cribble, and intact cells were not visible under SEM, and it improved the mixed uniformity. On the contrary, organization blocks of the commonly cribble were clearly discernible, also the shape and granularity were irregular, and the organization cells were still complete. The bulk density and liquidity of Astragalus membranaceus and Epimedium brevicornum increased significantly after ultra-fine Smashing. The component icariin extraction content of the ultra-fine powder was enhanced by 18.31% compared with the cribble by the chromatograph analysis of icariin. With the increasing calcination temperature from 300℃to 700℃, Co_3O_4 particles augmented and sintered on the samples surface which contained 10 wt.% cobalt, the crystallite size of Co_3O_4 was aggrandized from 7.2 nm to 20.3 nm by inchmeal. On the other hand, the activation energy for the combustion reaction was increased linearly with the augment of average crystallite size of Co_3O_4, the TOF value on prepared catalyst was decreased with it. The results show that Fe0.13[Co20Ni80]0.87 alloy fibers are characterized with thin diameters between 0.3 and 2.0 μm, with high aspect ratio, dense and smooth surfaces. The crystalline size of the alloy fibers are mainly influenced by the thermal reduction temperature and are in the range of 20 to 50 nm with a corresponding reduction temperature range of 300 to 700 ℃. The magnetic properties of the alloy fibers are largely affected by the carbon content and crystalline sizes of the alloy fibers. With increasing thermal reduction temperature, the coercivity decreases while the saturation magnetisation value of the alloy fibers dramatically increases at lower reduction temperatures. The alloy fibers prepared at reduction temperature of 700 ℃ have a saturation magnetisation value of 120 Am2/kg and a coercivity value of 10.4 kA/m, respectively.
