First, this study analyzes how "New Tai Feng" enters into Taiwan contemporary art and understands the social background, during the years of 1995-2005; Second, carefully combs Taiwanese lower layer in search for the special artistic attributes that could be the basis of sampling the "New Tai Feng" art works; At last, compares and analyzes from the selected representative art works, in order to have an insight into the courses and effects of New Tai Feng's blooming, decline and bulling activities, and also have a clear understanding of how it stands at the watershed of the multi-trended future.

本研究首先分析1995-2005年间，「新台风」是如何进入台湾当代艺术的脉络，了解「新台风」崛起的社会文化背景；其次再耙梳台湾底层的美感特质，作为取样「新台风」作品的依据；最后从代表性的「新台风」作品中进行比较与分析，期能更深入地洞悉「新台风」在台湾当代艺术中骚热、消退、哄抬的过程效应，及如何处於未来多重走向的分水岭。
