Based on the Biot s two-phase theory for fluid-saturated porous media, considering the inertia force of the solid and the liquid, and the coupling function between the solid and the liquid, and the compressibility of the liquid in allusion to the character of the nearly saturated soils. The dynamic governing differential equations are solved by Hankel transform. Then, considering the boundary condition, the dual integral equations of vertical vibration are established which are reduced to Fredholm integral equation of the second kind.

In this paper, based on an optimum difference operator for spatial differential given by Holberg, an optimum difference method of modeling crosswell elastic wavefield is put forward, which adopts the staggered-grid technique and calculates the wavefield at different grid points. When the half length of optimum difference operator is taken as four to six points, the required number of grid points per wavelength equals to three, crosshole elastic wavefield numerical modeling can attain satisfied accuracy.

Finally, we present an arithmetic of multiplehypocentral, heterogenous dislocation, and a multirupture segment superposition model for simulating the earthquake deformation field. The simulated LOS interferometry map presents the distribution characteristics of the earthquake deformation field better than that of previous studied. Meanwhile, a suit of fault geometric parameters of the earthquake is also obtained by the study. Having a better effect upon simulating asymmetry, great dislocation, macro rupture field, and nonhomogeneity of dislocation than the traditional model, the multisegment method is a progress of this work. It provides a better explanation for the study on hypocentral parameters.

According to the plane cross section assumption, configuration of a rod is expressed as a history of the cross section with arc coordinate. A special solution which stands for equilibrium in straight line state is obtained from differential equilibrium equation. Linear perturbation equation is derived and its general solution is obtained in which the integral constants are determined by constrained conditions at two ends of the rod. The condition of existence of non zero solution of the integral constants gives to the Greenhill formula of exact elastic rod model, which shows that the boundary of stable area is a closed curve and of symmetry, and inference of shearable and extensible to stability of the rod is depend on three factors: difference between flexibility of shear and extension of a section of the rod, bending stiffness and the length of the rod.
