3Web service is a hotspot in WebGIS study recently. Based on Web service and OGC specifications, a WebGIS system for Web service is designed. A webGIS antetype and a group of WebGIS compenents including geographic entity attribute data query, distance measure, frame choosing, contour, GML disposal and buffer analyzing ect are developed. The combination of WebGIS and service platform in application are more practical and can improve the function of the platform extremely.
