This kind of house absolutely abandons the European and American styles in the architectural design but employs more Chinese traditional residential elements, such as the pitched roof, wall, blue tile and white wall. What's more, especially in the large spatial layout, this building advocates the closed and semi-enclosed spatial arrangement in response to the psychological characteristics of Chinese people, restraint without showiness. However, the interior life circulations without exception absorb the European lifestyle to show the life philosophy and value orientation.

这类住宅的主要特点是在建筑设计上摒弃了完全欧美化的做法，而采纳了较多中国传统住宅的元素，如坡屋顶、院墙、青瓦白墙，特别是在大的空间结构上，提倡封闭、半封闭的空间围合方式，以契合中国人内敛含蓄的心理特征，但在内部生活流线上几乎无一例外地吸收了欧式的生活方式，体现了现代都市人的生活理念和价值取向，项目配套都比较现代化，有公建、会所、游泳池等现代人所不可缺少的休闲和娱乐设施。
