First the concept and design parameter of these two methods were compared in this paper. Then the analytical results of a tall hybrid structure were analyzed under structure class B and C of minor earthquake, and under elastic and non-yielding design of moderate earthquake. The results and conclusions drawn in this paper can be referred by the structural design and code revision.
