This method can provide not only collapse PGA of a low-rise RC building structure, but also damage conditions of members at a specific PGA. Combining with the deterioration rule for RC column after multiple earthquakes, it can also be applied to seismic analysis for after-earthquake or aged buildings.

最后则提出一套适用於中低层RC建筑结构之实用耐震诊断法，依照合理假设之地震力竖向分配型态及ATC-40建议公式，可再将层剪力-层间变位曲线换算为基底剪力-屋顶位移能力曲线，并计算对应之等效周期、阻尼比与PGA，除可评估结构整体之崩塌地表加速度外，也可由特定PGA反推对应的构件破坏程度，亦可配合震后折损修正，应用於结构之震后与经年耐震评估。
