The gap element method is proposed in the paper for two kinds of problems, which include contact problem and gap joint problem. Elasticity contact problem falls into the category of unknown boundary value problems. It follows that the contact area and contact conditions or states can never be determined without special mathematical analysis, which is a very difficult work. The boundary conditions of the contact surfaces are deduced.

In this paper, the mechanical property parameters of the adhesive were gotten by tensile test on standard sample at first. Then the single lap joint test of tensile shearing strength was designed and the loading-displacement curve including the cracking load was obtained. The experimental research provides the certain basis for the further research and application on the automotive structural adhesive.

本文首先制作了结构胶粘剂标准试样，通过拉伸实验测试了胶粘剂的相关力学性能参数；然后设计了单搭接拉伸剪切强度试验，测得该类型试件的载荷－位移曲线以及破坏载荷等重要数据，为今后车用结构胶合技术的进一步研究应用提供一定的实验依据。
