Globalization, with the promotion of capitalism, becomes a global trend since the 20th century. It bears the characteristic of modernity on the one hand; and presents post-modern thoughts on the other hand. Confronting the diverse faces of globalization, we must identify the advantages and disadvantages of modern and post-modern thoughts and syncretise the two in a critical way to guarantee the educational equity and justice.
