Subacut myeloid leukemia can be a defined type of leukemia. Hepatosplenomegaly is rare. There are multilineage abnormalities in blood cell counts and increased blasts in the bone marrow with cytogenetical abnormal clone in most cases. The disease course is subacute and progressive.
