It also concludes the influence on spirit imageryof garden in Qing's royal garden according to the characteristics of different category,explores the means of unit design and group design of building and the means of naturaldesign in order to form artistic conception of Zen, and discusses the influence on sight-seeingmanner, aesthetic manner and aesthetic perceive degree in Qing's royal garden by some spiritsof Zen, such as theory of main body spirit、conception of testing on spot and method ofmiddle-seeing.

下篇则以清代皇家园林为个案进行研究，考察了禅学与清代皇家园林的关联，揭示了禅学对清代帝王的&大隐&理想人格及园林观的影响，并按照不同的类型特征具体地归纳了禅学对清代皇家园林造园意匠影响，探析了皇家园林中塑造禅境的建筑单体、群体设计手法以及自然环境设计手法，讨论了禅学主体心性论、现量观、中观法、对清代皇家园林游赏方式、观照方式以及审美境界的影响。
