To use this method, the surface roughness of mechined materials can reach nanometer gade (Ra0.006～0.010 μm), and can replace parts of grind and polish technology.

本文作者开发了在MM7120A平面磨床上的ELID磨削工艺系统，实现了对多种硬脆材料的ELID精密镜面磨削试验，工件表面粗糙度可达nm级（Ra0.006-0.010μm），可取代部分硬脆材料的研磨、抛光工艺。
