The Finnish Chamber Orchestra relies primarily on private endorsement. The orchestra is in co-operation with a group of Finnish and international companies of which Kone, Fortum, YIT, TeliaSonera, Varma, Outokumpu and SanomaWSOY share the main responsibility of sponsorship. Music enthusiasts have been able to show their support through a registered association, Pro Kamarimusiikki ry. As well as performing annually in southern Finland, the Finnish Chamber orchestra has toured extensively abroad, e.g. in the United States and China.
