Objective To observe the production and removal of photo-product, cyclobutane pyrimidine dimers, in HaCaT cells induced by UVB irradiation and intervention effect of ligustrazine, and to investigate its photo-protective mechanisms on HaCaT cells damaged from UVB irradiation.

目的观察中波紫外线辐射后永生化角质形成细胞株中光产物环丁烷嘧啶二聚体的产生和清除情况，观察川芎嗪对UVB辐射后细胞光产物的影响并探讨其保护作用机制。

Aim To investigate the production and removal of cyclobutane pyrimidine diners after UVB irradiation and the effect of baikal skullcap root, szechwan lovge rhizome and epigallocatechingallate on the irradiation damage in HaCaT cells, and finally, to clarify the probable regulatory mechanisms. Methods HaCaT cells were cultured in RMPI-1640 medium with 10% fetal bovine serum. The time and dosage of UVB irradiation were conducted according to the experimental design. Tested medicines were added into the medium before or after UVB irradiation.

目的 观察中波紫外线辐射后HaCaT细胞光产物胸腺嘧啶二聚体(cyclobutanepyrimidine dimers， CPDs)的生成和清除情况及3种中药活性成分：黄芩(baikal skullcap root， BSR)、川芎(szechwan lovge rhizome， SLR)和表没食子儿茶素没食子酸酯[-epigallocatechin-3-gallate， EGCG]对该过程的干预情况并探讨上述药物对相关调控分子的作用机制。

采用小鼠断头法、亚硝酸钠(NaNO2)致死法、大鼠大脑中动脉栓塞法，通过观察断头喘息时间、亚硝酸钠致死时间、脑缺血行为评分、脑缺血面积，明确川芎嗪对脑损伤的保护作用。

结果 川芎嗪20mg/kg、50mg/kg可明显延长断头小鼠的喘息时间及亚硝酸钠致死小鼠的生存时间；10mg/kg、20mg/kg可显著改善中动脉栓塞致脑缺血大鼠的行为障碍，降低脑缺血梗死面积。

Results Describable characteristics of Notoginseng, Flos Carthami,-Borneol and Ligusticum Chuanxiong were showed by TLC.
