This dissertation stems from the project "Study on high efficient multi-flow transmission system" which is sub-project of the Natural Science Foundation Key Project "Fundamental study on energy saving of mechanical/fluid transmission and new transmission methods", which mainly analyzes the energy saving issue of mechanical transmission system from the point of view of design theory and method. Multi-flow transmission systems have been widely applied to large mechanical equipment such as creeper truck, helicopter, cement grinder, hoist, wind electricity generator, construction machinery and metallurgy industry.
