Methods Hepatic fibrosis models of rabbits were made by appling abdomen walls with the cercarias of Schistosome japonica.The rabbits were randomly categorized into four groups:normal control,4,8,12 weeks after application.The level of transforming growth factor-beta1(TGF-β1) mRNA in hepatic tissues was examined by reverse transcription polymerase chain reaction.
