The secreted proteins in ferment fluid from different culture media were analysed by SDS-PAGE electrophoresis.

We initiated a genetic screen for Drosophila olfactory genes by means of SG18.1-Gal4/UAS system: The result validates our screen as an rapid, effective approach for recovering genes controlling glomerular map patterning; From a misexpression screen of 1,515 P{GS} lines, we identified 23 genes that, when forcibly expressed in the olfactory receptor neurons, disrupted the stereotyped anatomy of the Drosophila antennal lobes; These genes, which have not been shown previously to control olfactory map development, encode novel proteins as well as proteins with known roles in axonal outgrowth and cytoskeletal remodeling.

Biological activities of SPThe inhibitory effect of SP on oxidation of lipids and the acitivity of lipoxygenase, the scavenging or quenching effect of SP on free radicals, and the influences of SP on the malonaldehyde content in mice liver juice, liver mitochondria and liver red blood cell were studied. The results showed that SP can inhibit the auto-oxidation of lard and soybean oil at 60 and can inhibit the activity of lipoxygenase significantly; SP also had scavenging effect on hydroxylradicals generated by Fenton system with IC50 value 6.220 mg/ml, under the concentration range of 1 mg/ml-50mg/ml, the scavenging rate of SP to -OH increased strongly when the concentration of SP increased, the maximum scavenging rate was 85.4%.

Boehmeriae were studied, and the results indicated that the zoospores of P. boehmeriae could be inactivated obviously by irradiating with 30W ultraviolet light 50cm away from the culture dishes tested and that 95% germination of zoospores could be restrained by 30W ultraviolet light treatment for 40sec.The mycelium growth from mycelium discs of P. boehmeriae were inhibited mostly by 30W ultraviolet light treatment for 20min. Afterwards, the inhibitive rates were decreased with the rise of the treatment time, which showed that the mycelium discs of P. boehmeriae had produced flexibility to ultraviolet rays after being irradiated by certain dosage of ultraviolet light.
