For efficient utilization of phosphorus—rich rhodochrosite and complicated sulfides, we have carried out some studies on enrichment of manganese, dephosphorization and bio-catalytical oxidation of sulfides supported by NSFC (No. 59374150, 59774010), the main contents include: properties of Huayuan Manganese ore; microorganisms preparation of dealing with manganese ore; physiological and biochemical properties of microbes used; the mechanism of microbes function to manganese ore; the separation, tameness of Thiobacillus ferrooxidans and its nutriment; bio—catalytical oxidation mechanism of sulfides; extraction of gold by bio—catalytical oxidation—cyanidation.

The phosphorus contents of feldspars vary according to their crystal habitus. In general, the feldspars of later generation have the higher average phosphorus content than that of earlier generation, and the albite contains higher phosphorus than the K-feldspar in the same generation. The zircon is highly rich in Hf, U, P and Al. The phosphorus enters the zircon structure mainly by the form of〓P〓〓Si〓, Al〓P〓Si〓 or P〓Al〓Si〓, Zr〓 substitution. The P-rich zircon is the production of the highly evolved magma, and it might be one of the important characteristic minerals of the high-P subtype granite. The manganocolumbite, manganotantalite, wodginite and titanowodginite are the main niobium and tantalum minerals.

It is revealed in the study that the heavy metal concentration of Pb,Cu,Zn in the leaves of urban trees (Sabina chinesis,Platycladus orientalis,Euonymus japonicus,Platanus acerifolia, Prunus cerasifera) is significantly related with the relative heavy metal contents in atmospheres of different urban regions of Yantai city, while no such relationship is found in heavy metal Cd, and that the heavy metal amounts of Pb,Cd,Cu,Zn in urban soils had no direct impacts on the heavy metal concentrations in leaves of urban trees.
