On the basis of questionnaire of Garvin, Edmondson and Gino (2008), we tailored the measurement of this study. Using exploratory factor analysis, we analysis the data of 215 persons in 95 family business firms. Using confirmatory factor analysis, we analysis the data of 377 persons in 151 family business.

The present research paper looks at the structural changes of different types of social capital in the course of the development of the family enterprises and finds that it is essential for family businesses to grasp the pattern of the evolutionary change of the social capital structure in order to exercise dynamically external and internal management of the social capital, avert retrogressive change of the enterprises and achieve successful landing at different phases of growth.
