Periodic spiritual activities are arranged to nourish the lectors and to flare up their love to the Word. With readings, meditations, reflections and prayers, one may develop one's character which would show from his/her activities, the essence of the love embedded in the Word. 藉每两个月一次的聚会，以增强彼此间的沟通和共融；检讨不足之处以共勉，并透过按时举行的灵修活动，培养宣读员对圣言的内在情操，对圣言的热爱，藉著每天的个人读经，默想，反省及祈祷，得到圣言的滋润陶冶，且在行为生活上活出圣言的精神，好使基督救世的喜讯，能活现於此时此地教会所处的社群中。
