The journal is also pleased to publish studies in genomics, both functional and comparative, and studies in which karyology has helped to resolve difficult taxonomic problems or provide clues to fundamental mechanisms of genome and karyotype evolution.

In 1994, Los Alamos National Laboratory, National Institute of Standards and Technology and Cryenco company in the USA achieved great development in which part of the natural gas was burned to drive thermoacoustic driven pulse tube to liquefy the rest part.
