Aimed at the shortcomings of previous studies, this research constructs the system of primary school students' mathematics learning strategies, in which the using status, developmental traits and main influencing factors are investigated thoroughly. The processing mechanism of strategies is revealed both in psychological and physiological aspects through cognitive psychology and cognitive neuroscience methods. In order to promote children's strategy learning, the teaching method and effect are explored through the instructional experiment.

针对已有研究的不足，本研究系统地构建了小学数学学习策略体系，全面考察了儿童策略运用的现状、发展特点及其主要影响因素；运用认知心理学研究方法和认知神经科学研究方法从心理和生理上揭示了儿童策略的加工机制；采用教学实验探讨了促使儿童策略有效发展的教学方法与教学效果。

Based on the results of the experiment, the results indicate as follows (1) the opportunity cost for key letter method learning of a fifth-grade student of an elementary school is 77 minutes of time;(2) the learning of the relations between letters and their chief representatives have a great transference effect on the learning of the relations between letters and their deputy representatives, and this result told us that the opportunity cost for key letter method learning could be reduced by learning and mastering first the relations between letters and their chief representatives.

实验结果表明：(1)小学五年级学生学习关键字母法的机会成本约为77分钟；(2)字母—正代表关系的学习结果，对于字母—副代表的学习具有较大的迁移作用。这说明，先学习并牢记字母—正代表关系，能够减少关键字母法的机会成本。

Experiment 4 which is a case study was conducted to investigate the opportunity cost for key letter method learning, the subject was a fifth-grade student from an elementary school, and the Meaning-Processing Device for the Latin Letters and the memory strategies for the MPDLL were used as materials in the experiment.
