This study developed a six-month "peer observation activity" for student teachers in educational practicum hoping to carry instructional supervision into effect and to ease the overwhelming workload demanded for instructional supervision.

We observed that the probationary teacher has very strong motives in learning to teach. However, his intention of teaching diagnostically was defeated by his relatively weak PCK and easily impacted by the traditional instruction approach at the beginning stage of his probation. The concrete purposes three this study would include: 1 to understand the practicing status current situation of kindergarten inters under the new practicum system, 2 to explore what problems kindergarten interns met during this period, 3 to propose suggestions based on the research results for relevant personnel and authority to refer for guiding practice interns under this new system.
