He acted as an advisor for the Cenozoic Laboratory,Geological Survey of China,the first institution established for studying paleoanthropology in China since its establishment. He was one of the two chief authors of Fossil Man in China ,the first paleoanthropological book printed in China. He not only has great achievements in the study of Cenozoic stratigraphy,Paleolithic archaeology and mammalian fossils of China but also made important contributions in planning the excavation at Zhoukoudian. He worked in China for nearly 20 years,which makes him unparalleled among foreign paleoanthropologists.

从中国第一家专门为进行古人类学研究而建立的学术机构--中国地质调查所新生代研究室1929年成立之时起，他便任顾问；他是在中国出版的第一本关于古人类学的专著《中国原人史要》的两位主要执笔人之一；他不仅在中国新生代地层和哺乳动物的研究上卓有建树，而且在旧石器考古和周口店的发掘工作方面都有不小的贡献；他是为中国广义的古人类学工作时间最长的外国专家，为之付出了近20年的辛劳。

The author firstly combs the teachers sources of Shuyuan in Ming and Qing dynasties, points out that there are four main sources for it, and concludes that making full use of social resources is a valid path to solve the problem of teachers sources then.Secondly, the present research consults Shuyuan teachers employment way in Ming and Qing dynasties, combs its three ways and deeply inquires into the subjective and objective condition for them.Thirdly, the present research analyses Shuyuan teaching characteristics, management and promotion, sums up seven main teaching characteristics and analyses the advantage and disadvantage of them,Further more , the present research consults Shuyuan teachers management and promotion, makes an analysis on its historic courses why it"s informal.Finally, the present research analyses the Shuyuan teachers" economic treatment, social status and the influence and effect made to the politics, economy, military, social life and cultural education where they were situated in Ming and Qing dynasties, and concludes that the Shuyuan teachers in Ming and Qing dynasties actively participated in the local social activities in their peculiar upper class gentlemanship and greatly influenced and promoted the policy making and carrying out of the local public affairs, meanwhile, they promoted the communication and development of local learning and culture , and trained quite many men for profession for the locals.

作者首先对明清时期书院教师的来源进行了梳理，指出了明清书院教师的四种主要来源，认为充分利用社会资源是明清书院解决教师来源的有效途径；其次，对明清时期书院教师的聘用方式进行了历史考察，梳理出明清时期书院存在着三种教师聘用方式，深入探讨了这三种方式并存的主客观条件；再次，对明清时期书院教师的教学特点进行了分析，归纳出七个主要教学特点，并说明其利弊；此外，探讨了明清时期书院教师的管理及升迁问题，分析了其存在的不规范性的历史原因；最后，剖析了明清时期书院教师的经济待遇、社会地位及对书院所在地的政治、经济、军事及社会生活与文化教育所可能产生的作用与影响，得出明清书院教师以自己特有的上层绅士身份与地位积极地参与到当地社会生活之中，并在相当程度上影响与促进了地方公共事务的决策与实施；同时，他们促进了当地学术及文化的交流与发展，为当地培养出了大批的杰出人才。

Finally,based on this theory discussion and the actual case analysis,the paper has drawn the following conclusion:sports institute must seek the development,should abundantly realize to the school localization importance and completes the localization work,the correct reasonable school localization is the sports institute development premise and the foundation.The sports institute localization must rest on the Chinese national condition request,the social expectation and request,the place characteristic and school own request.The sports institute localization must follow must pragmatic principle:the whole optimization principle;the democratic principle;the academic dominant principle;the selective principle etc..In the sports institute localization process,various sports institutes must formulate the personal reasonable system,to carry on the appraisal with locate,to strengthen the internal and exterior communication of sports institute localization,to safeguard the realization of localization.

最后，在此理论探讨和实际案例分析的基础上，得出了如下结论：我国体育院校要谋求发展，就应充分认识到学校定位的重要性，做好定位工作，正确合理的办学定位是体育院校发展的前提和基础；体育院校定位要依据中国国情要求、社会期望和要求、地方特色和学校自身的要求，科学合理构建体育院校定位的内容；在体育院校定位中要注重体育特色定位；体育院校定位要遵循务实性原则、整体优化原则、民主性原则、学术主导性原则、有所为、有所不为原则等基本原则；在实现体育院校定位的过程中，各体育院校要制定切身合理的制度、对定位进行评估与再定位、加强体育院校定位的内部沟通和外部沟通，来保障定位的实现。

Third, most of Schwartz's energy went into the study of the history of Chinese thought, and his reflection on the western enlightenment was accomplished through his interpretation of the culture of Chinese thought. He used the method of "Weberian Verstehen" to interpret Mao Zedong, Yan Fu, Zhu Xi and even the pre-Qin thinkers of antiquity, thus he made many ground-breaking studies and interpretations of China's old tradition, the modern tradition, and the tradition inaugurated by Mao Zedong. Thus he provided rich academic resources for scholars in east and west, and, even more important, he can provide rich, manifold, detailed and deep local sources for the construction of the spiritual culture of China and for the moral culture of China, which are rapidly modernized.

第三、史华慈一生的精力主要用在中国思想史的研究上，他对西方启蒙的反思是经由他对中国思想文化的诠释而达成的，他对毛泽东、严复、朱熹到先秦诸子都采取别人难以企及的&韦伯式理解&，因此对中国的古老传统、中国近现代传统和毛泽东所开辟的传统，都做了了大量的开拓性研究与诠释，这不仅给中西学术界提供了丰富的学术资源，而且更主要的是可以给正在迅速现代化的中国思想文化与精神道德的建设，提供了极为丰富多彩且深刻细密的本土资源。

In summary, various key experimental conditions in electron acoustic imaging of ferroelectric domains were systematically studied. The optimum experimental conditions to obtain EAI of domains with good quality and the factors important to image analysis have been presented. The piezoelectric vibrator model and calculation of motion equation are helpful for explaining the imaging mechanism and related experimental phenomena. The sample holder with variable electric field was designed. The domain movement of BaTiO〓 ceramics and crystal under lateral and longitudinal applied electric field and domain movement of PMN-PT crystal under longitudinal poling electric field were observed. The application of SEAM on revealing of ferroelastic domains, imaging of residual stress distribution in ceramics coatings and around the pores on the surface of ferroelectric ceramic composite have been reported respectively. All these works enriched the study of electron acoustic imaging and extended the application of SEAM in the characterization of materials.

综上所述，本文系统地研究了各项关键实验条件对电畴电声成像的影响，指出了获得最佳畴结构电声像的条件和成像分析中应当考虑的各种影响因素；提出了解释电畴电声成像的压电振子模型，在此基础上推导并求解了压电振子运动方程，并对一些实验现象作出了解释；成功地设计了可变电场的样品台，观察了BaTiO〓陶瓷和晶体在横向电场作用下的畴运动，PMN-PT晶体在纵向极化电场作用下的畴运动；探索了电声显微镜在铁弹畴成像，陶瓷涂层应力观察，陶瓷自然表面气孔周围应力成像的应用，这些研究，丰富了电声成像的学术内涵，拓展了电声显微镜的应用领域。
