一方面促进有关班级环境、成就目标定向与学业求助行为研究的理论建设与发展，丰富教育心理学和学习心理学的内容，另一方面为促进适应性学业求助行为提供理论基础，特别是对实际上最需要帮助的学生进行有效的干预，提供理论参考。
