Embedded systems are usually diskless systems. In order to keep permanent data in the systems, it is a widely adapted strategy to use flash memory disk as its disk system, therefore how to build a flash memory file system is the focus of this thesis in a reasonable embedded system.

Finally,about the boards"design in the engineering process,some skills of the traces and placement of the signals between controller and the DIMM(Dual In-line Memory Module) socket are analysised in particular. In addition,DDR chip"s power consumption and the signals timing margin have been discussed.
