此作品延续版图系列作品的创作观点，以台湾地图的造形为蝴蝶的翅膀，以飞机机身、飞弹、子弹、船舰…为蝴蝶身体，组合成有如蝴蝶图鉴般的形式，突显台湾现实环境下所处的国际情势；台湾早期有蝴蝶王国之称，西班牙人称台湾为福尔摩莎，意思为美丽的地方，输出蝴蝶标本是台湾早期国际贸易赚取外汇的手段，犹如将美好的事物贩售出去，让人有种不舍又无奈的感受。
