Results In dioestrous mice, many iNOS+ cells were found in the stroma of endometrium. There was no obvious differences between the immunized mice and the control mice. In the uterus on 3 day of pregnancy, however, there was obvious difference about the iNOS quantity in uterus between the immunized and the control mice. There was strong positive reaction on the epithelia of endometrium and the endometrial gland in the lamina propria in control mice, while the staining of iNOS in the uterus of SA-30 immunized mice was very weak, only a few of iNOS+ cells were observed in the myometrium.

They differ from embryonic stem cells in that they gradually lose some differentiation potentials during development and adopt some special phenotypes once within a certain tissue. They can give rise to different kinds of stem cells; therefore, help to maintain balance during development and metabolism. They provide cells not only for the damaged tissues they reside, but also for damaged tissues different from them by migration triggered by proinflammatory cytokines or growth factors.

In situ hybridization using biotinylated POMC cRNA probe made it possible to localize POMC mRNA in the rat ovary. POMC mRNA predominantly existed in corpora lutea of diesturs, pregnant and pseudopregnant rat ovaries. POMC containing cells scattered in the ovarian intertitium were seen. The amount of POMC mRNA in granulosa cells was negligible.

Results The expression of endogenous LN was found in the basement membrane of epithelium, glands and blood vessels in uterine endometrium of both estrus and early pregnancy. And its was faint that LN present in basement membrane as the implantation occurs, but the LN immunostaining in the epithelial cells of endometrium was stronger. The exogenous LN has no obvious influence on blastocyst attachment and implantation. LN-antibody intra-uterine injection showed significant repressing effect on mouse blastocyst implantation.
