Based on VHZ data recorded by 7 stations of China digital seismograph network for Nov. 14, 2001, earthquake in the west of the Kunlun mountain pass, we extracted spherical mode of 0S4-0S76 of the earth free oscillation using power spectral density estimation. Because the frequency response of seismograph in China digital seismograph network suppress information of solid tide, we do not need to remove the solid tide in our procession.

As the application of the intermediate models is concerned, the works applying the intermediate models to investigate the topographic boundary layer, frontogenesis and low-level frontal structures, and the boundary layer jet are summarized in this article. It is mainly focused on the dynamic characteristics of the Ekman layer and its effect on the low-level structure and circulation of the weather systems illustrated by the models. It is shown that the intermediate boundary-layer models have great potential in illustrating the low level structures of the weather and climate systems as they are coupled with the free atmospheric models.

The theory and application is explained in this paper. Software XMGREDIT5 matching ELCIRC is used to generate unstructured grid, and is considered fit for ocean but rivers. Tidal current is simulated and validated well, and sensitivity of current structure to bathymetry is visible. Affection of wind is qualitatively analyzed here. At the same time the model is improved on as required, like the tidal open boundary which could choose not only long period harmonic constant but also short period harmonic constant and tidal level, and multi-point results and flow field data could be exported effectively with binary results.
