Insomnia is one of the most common diseases about Sleep-disorder somnipathy .

The chemosynthesis sedative-hypnotic is widely applied in the clinic to treat somnipathy, but those shorten SWS and REMS resulting in producing some side effects, such as dizziness, somnolence, dependence and addiction for longly taking medicine, rebounding phenomenon and abstinence for suddenly withdrawing medicine.

临床上常用的化学合成类镇静催眠药，作用特点在于使失眠者入睡快，中间不易醒，但都(95％)不同程度地缩短了SWS和REMS，致使连续用药后出现头昏、嗜睡等症状，久服产生依赖性和成瘾性，停药时出现反跳和戒断症状等不良反应。
