The results showed that either of the extracted propolis had significant inhibitory effect on the level of triglyceride, total cholesterol, LDL-C,GPT and GOT in serum, and TC, TG and MDA in liver, but were ineffective on HDL-C, MDA, SOD and NO levels in serum. Objective To observe the pathological changes and investigate the hepatocyte apoptosis relating with CYP2E1 in alcoholic liver diseaseof rat. Method the Model of Alcoholic liver Disease: Rats were randomly divided into model group(n=37)and control group(n=33). The dose of 40%ethanol was administerd at 8g/kg body weight by garage twice daily for 8 weeks in model group, and control group was received isovolume saline by gavage. End of 8th week, the activities of serum ALT and AST were detect by autobiochemistry instrument. The pathological changes of liver was observed under light microscope after HE staining, hepatocyte apoptosis was detected by the TUNEL method.
