SUSIBA2, a transcription factor for sugar signaling in barley, belongs to the WRKY super gene family. It regulates starch accumulation in endosperm by recognizing sugar-responsive elements in the promoter regions of genes for starch synthesis.

The results show that the tiller number, biomass accumulation, contents of soluble sugar and proline, and activity of SOD isozyme of E+ plants were significantly higher (P.05), but malondialdehyde content significantly lower (P.05), than those of F- plants. In conclusion, endophyte infection improved the salt tolerance of wild barley under outside pot conditions.

结果表明：在高盐浓度300 mmol L^(-1下内生真菌显著提高了宿主野大麦分蘖能力、生物量积累、可溶性糖含量、脯氨酸含量、SOD酶活性(P.05)，同时降低了丙二醛含量，说明内生真菌的侵入有利于提高宿主野大麦在室外盆栽条件下的耐盐性。

Currently, most breweries grinded barley and corn together for dextrinization at 100 ℃ and then for saccharification. However, our experiments proved that it was unnecessary to dextrinize at 100 ℃ and saccharification could be operated directly without any additional enzyme.

但目前多数工厂是把大麦与玉米一同粉碎进入糊化锅100 ℃糊化，之后再进行糖化，本实验主要研究了大麦的糖化工艺，认为不需要进行100 ℃糊化，可以直接进行糖化，并且不需要外加酶。
