The present study,based on Jef Verschueren s theory of linguistic adaptation,undertakes a exploration into Chinese EFL teachers first language in English language class as a means of adapting to the general purpose of successful teaching.

本文运用Verschueren的语言顺应理论对大学英语课堂中教师使用母语现象进行了分析。
