Domino Printing Sciences Ltd was founded on 1 September 1978 by Graeme Minto, a Cambridge graduate and employee of Cambridge Consultants Ltd. The company was set up to exploit the continuous ink jet technology developed at CCL, manufacturing and marketing machines under licence from them.
